Who we can help?

Someone simply wants to start living a healthier lifestyle by practising yoga and meditation but don't know where to start

Someone are dealing with depression and anxiety and want to take back control of their emotion by starting meditation

Someone are suffering from physical pain at a minor level, resulting from stress, sitting for long hours... such as lower back pain, upper back pain, neck pain, headache, ...and want to try yoga posture practising

Someone find it hard to concentrate, are distracted easily and want to try meditation to increase level of concentration

Someone have been practising meditation or yoga on their own and need some guidance on how to continue.

While MeBalance wants to reach everyone in need.  We are specifically concerned about the low-income class and minority who for some reason have not many chances to try yoga and meditation. There are actually not many effective options which are more simple and less expensive than yoga and meditation to stay balanced physically and mentally than doing yoga and meditation. All you need to do is seating down to the floor with a full determination

What are our objectives?

There are two things I had in mind when I decided to create MeBalance

- Raise awareness about mental health during pandemics: lockdown, social distancing and Covid symtoms can cause  mental illness such as depression.  Even the uncertainty associated with the pandemic could cause anxiety. In many cases than expected, it is difficult to realise depression and anxiety until it has a severe impact on someone's mental health. And more often than not, people choose to not admit to having a mental illness, being afraid of society's judgement. Or even if they do, they usually choose to not go for a treatment, ignore it or even hide it. The reason could be varied: some might not be aware of the possible impact, some might feel ashamed, some might not have enough information on what to do.

Therefore, I believe that raising awareness about mental health and help people accept it as a public problem will help people identify problem, recognize it and willing to go for a appropriate treatment

- Improve public health through encouraging the public to practise yoga and meditation: we design a specific program of approxiety 2 months training, online or offline, one or two section per week, addressing both physical and mental exercise (asana and meditation practices). While there are so many yoga studios established in Luxembourg, it is hard to find one that offer the complete cycle of yoga from unlocking body (pose practise) to final state of mindfulness (meditation) The unique program was inspired by Vipassana meditation course, however, it offers a different aspect that complement Vipassana course which teach pure mental training. MeBalance program is the combination between mental and physical practices 

How do we help?

With MeBalance you can

- Join our weekly yoga asana class (online or offline)

- Request for individual or group yoga asana class: depend on your level, we can either give you a yoga class, guidance on where to do next or just short meeting to correct on your posture

- Request for an individual meditation class

- Join our meditation program. Some part of the program might be in group. However, we believe that meditation process is very personal so in most part of the program you will practise at home, accompanied with individual guidance meeting with teacher

- Take online courses which contains pre-record video about yoga, breathing technique, concentration technique, meditation. While some course are charge, a lot of course are free or charge, especially for people suffering from Covid and mental illness. For free course or discount code, please contact us for more info.
